NORDA
Norda were a post punk supergroup in Toronto. The members comprised the ex-bassist from Rent Boys Inc and 2 players on loan from Sturm Group, the singer from punk band Body Bag, guest on 'Snakes And Ladders was Cyn D and a photographer called Miklos Legrady took the photos and guested live. Live sound was by Mike Dent. They existed for 12 months through 1984 and into 1985. There was a dark change sweeping through the Toronto Queen Street West music scene and a band called The Smiths were on the horizon. Norda were the coda for the post punks. They released one 12" vinyl 3 song EP in 1984 and one cassette tape in 1985. These are now compiled over 2 cds on SMASH RECORDS. Available via bandcamp and 'Gord's Back Room' in Toronto.
